City Pigeon
Picture of pigeon in city Square, Leeds in Yorkshire.
This pigeon was stood on a wall in city Square Leeds, in the background are some traffic lights hence the red and green.
I know they are pests and quite a few people think of them as vermin but I have always had a soft spot for pigeons. My grandfather used to keep homing pigeons in a loft at the end of his back garden in London. I am quite fond of pigeon pie, though I have not had any in quite a while and I must add that usually that is made with wood pigeon a different variety of pigeon than the feral one in the above photo.
