All Saints at Broughton with Elslack
I was in the churchyard of the church of All Saints at Broughton with Elslack.
I had thought I might, because I wanted to include the cat in the frame.
The Church is a vicarage, dedicated to All-Saints, in the deanry of Craven, value, ~£5. 16s. 0½d. Patron, the Dean and Chapter of Christ church, Oxford. As a boy I used to live next door in the building next door it was then a college called (Linacre) Its tower is particularly noteworthy, having been built from reused stone from a nearby Roman fort at Elslack
