Yellow Flag at Victoria Quays
Picture of flag iris at Victoria Quays Leeds.
This picture was taken in almost the same place on Victoria Quays on the Leeds waterfront as yesterdays photo looking towards calls landing from Navigation Walk.
I have always loved Iris pseudacorus which is a species of Iris, native to Europe, western Asia and northwest Africa. Common names include yellow iris and yellow flag. This iris is commonly found here in the UK, is a plant of wetlands found in ponds and at the edge of streams, rivers and canals.
